He was predeceased by: his parents, William Robert Mason, Sr. and Mary Estelle Brooks; and his siblings, Southall, Edward, James Thomas Mason and Mary Ann Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jefferson Mason of Clarksville, VA; his sons, Marcus Mason (Carla) of Charlotte, NC and Patrick Mason (Dian) of Charlotte, NC; and his brother William R. Mason, Jr. of Boydton, VA. He is also survived by six sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law.
