He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wesley and Annie Mae Parker Redd; and his siblings, James "Shorty" Redd, Bradsher Redd, Catherine Williamson and Anne Irby.
He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Speeks Redd; his daughters, Cheerita Redd Minnick (John "Beannie" Aldrich) of Chesterfield and Heather "Michelle" Redd Hathaway (Darek Hathaway) of Prince George; his grandchildren, Sarah Paz, Christopher Avery Aldrich, Hannah Hathaway and Brandon William Hathaway; his great grandchildren, Kori and Kylah Paz; and his brother Samuel Woodrow Redd of Kinston, NC.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association in honor of Lee Redd.
