He is survived by: his wife Bertha Robinson Townes of Clarksville, VA; his children, Jeffrey Townes (Dorothy) of Buffalo Junction, VA, Larry Townes (Jannie) of Buffalo Junction, VA, Alvin Townes (Gail) of Clarksville, VA, Richard Townes (Jeanine) of South Hill, VA, Leon Townes (Yolanda) of South Hill, VA and Trentace Hutcherson of Charlotte, NC; and his sister Martha Martin of South Boston, VA. He is also survived by other loving relatives and caring friends.
Public viewing will be held on Friday from 2:00 P. M. until 6:00 P. M. Due to Covid-19, a mask will be required for all viewings and services, and we ask that you practice social distancing.
