He is survived by: his daughter Tamika Barksdale (O'Brien); his grandchildren, Ja'Hayveion Jennings, Kai'Jon Nelson and Sa'Niyah Nelson; his siblings, Ellis Downey of Clarksville, VA, Arthur Downey (Brenda) of Clarksville, VA, Loretta Richardson (Calvin) of Boydton, VA, Katina Nelson of Clarksville, VA, Joann Hunt (Lynn) of Clarksville, VA and Lois Downey of Henderson, NC; and his friend Chris Boyter. He is also survived by other loving relatives and caring friends.
