He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann Dixon Johnson; and his children, Sabrina L. Newton of Grey Court, SC, Athena R. Jimmerson (Tina) of Clarksville, VA and Eric Q. (Juanita Johnson) of Skipwith, VA. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
