She was predeceased by: her mother Thomas Jefferson Griffin; and her husband Dalton Lee Barbour. She is survived by: her sons, Michael L. Clayton of Durham, Dwight D. Clayton (Sandra) of Durham, Jerry A. Clayton of Raleigh and Robert L. Perry of Oxford; her brothers, Thomas J. Griffin of Georgia and Allen R. Griffin of Raleigh; and her pets, Blackie and Pretty Boy. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
