He was predeceased by: his parents, Carol Jean Akers Griffin and Malcolm Lee Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Caroline M. Griffin of Clarksville; his children, Katherine L. Holoman of Fort Lauderdale, FL and Stephen E. Langston (Wanda) of Roanoke, VA; his grandchildren, Eva Marie Langston Patrone (Paul) and Deven James Langston (Lauren); and his great grandchild Phoebe Rose Patrone.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations at any local SPCA or animal protection agency.
