She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kenneth Tillotson and Mildred Annie Newby Tillotson; and her sister Ruth T. Cooper. She is survived by: her husband Reverend William M. Salmons of Clarksville; her sons, William Marcus Salmons, Jr. (Yvette) of Wake Forest, NC, James Marvin Salmons (Karen) of Louisburg, NC and John Marshall Salmons (Shelley) of Raleigh, NC; her sisters, Naomi T. Hogge of Gloucester Point and Stella T. Pennell (Gene) of Clarksville; her grandchildren, Jessica Isabell Salmons, Brittany Ann Salmons and William Marcus Salmons, III; her stepgrandchildren, Kyle Peltz, Kendall Peltz, Jack Waterworth, Sarah and Ben Evenson; and her great grandchildren, Owen and Charlotte.
