He is survived by: his wife Carolyn E. Ellington of Oxford; his children, Tim Ellington (Melony) of Virginia Beach, VA and Christa Hight (Rusty) of Henderson; his grandsons, John Ellington, Alex Ellington, Dusty Hight and Daniel Hight; his siblings, Peggy Jordan of Cary and Jerry Ellington, Sr. of Raleigh; and his sister-in-law Gail Prather of Oxford.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the J. M. White Funeral Home (60 Zeb Robinson Rd, Henderson, NC 27536). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
