She was predeceased by: her husband Charles William Wootton, Sr.; and her parents, Frank Petty and Louise Rycroft Petty. She is survived by: her son Charles "C. W."; her grandchildren, Clayton Wootton, Aimee Wootton, Emily Jackson and Kayla Wootton; and her siblings, Billy Petty of Buchanan, Anita Thompson of Gordonsville, Linda Alexander of Buchanan, Becky Hannah of Natural Bridge and Jane Harris of Lexington. She is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be considered to the Parkinson's Foundation and Boydton Rescue Squad.
