She was predeceased by: her husband Melvin Ralph Burton; and her parents, Lindsey Hipps and Ida Owens Hipps. She is survived by: her daughters, Melva Trammel (Steve) of Clarksville, VA and Maxine Burton of Edisto Island, SC; her grandchildren, Renne Trammel Glover (Todd) of Raleigh, NC, Greg Trammel (Valerie) of Orlando, FL and Ginny Flowers (Frankie) of Edisto Island, SC; and her great grandchildren, Callen Flowers and Hannah Flowers. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
