It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Michael Hartrum of Clarksville, Virginia, born in Easton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 18, 2023, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Percy; his stepfather Salvatore Frank Caparatta, Jr.; and his grandparents, Russel and Lillian Hartrum. He is survived by: his mother Agnes Jean Callahan Caparatta; his children, Joseph Hartrum (Trisha), Brian Hartrum, Stacey Puryear (Stephen), Tyler Hartrum, Felisha Hartrum (Zack) and Laci Hartrum West (Carl); and his siblings, Sandy Williamson (Scott), Gwen Hartrum Kark (Chris), Wanda Hartrum Gonzalez (Louie), Jodi Caparatta and Sammy Caparatta. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, David's family asks that donations be made to Sweet Virginia Barn Cats.
