He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Sutphin; and his wife Patricia McConnell Sutphin. He is survived by: his sons, Timothy Sutphin (Jackie Crute), Michael Sutphin (Debra), Shane Sutphin and Alvin Sutphin (Dorothy); his grandchildren, Mary Lawson (Jacob), Zach Sutphin, Savanna Sutphin, Brian and Lily Sutphin; and his sister Diane Sanny.
