With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Janice Hasenohr of Clarksville, Virginia, who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Brill and Grace Brill; and her husbands, Robert F. Nielsen and Clinton Hasenohr. She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Shafto (John) of Taos, NM, Keith Nielsen (Angel) of Lenior City, TN and Susan Brunelli (William) of Clarksville, VA; her stepsons, Edward Hasenohr (Helen) of Tinmouth, VT, Robert Hasenohr (Janice) of Lewisburg, WV and Joseph Hasenohr (Vicky) of Hudson, OH; her siblings, Grace Glenn of Morganton, NC and George William Brill, Jr. of Roanoke, VA; and her grandchildren, John Radford Shafto, Kyle Robert Shafto, Nichole Nielsen, Brandi Brandstetter, Keith Nielsen, Merissa Nielsen, Jacqueline Morrison, William Brunelli, Nathan Brunelli, Ellie Hasenohr, Annie Hasenohr, Matthew Hasenohr and Rachel Kasmar.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Watkins Cooper Lyon Funeral Home (703 Virginia Ave, Clarksville, VA 23927). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
