She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin C. Posey and Mattie Posey; and her husbands, William H. Grainger, Sr. and James Randolph Blalock. She is survived by: her sons, William "Bill" Grainger (Gayle) of Clarksville, VA and Linwood "Lin" A. Grainger of Clarksville, VA. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Clarksville Baptist Church or Mecklenburg Rescue Squad.
