He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Leighton Sellers Sr. and Alice Sellers (Brooker); his wife Nancy Jean Sellers (Moneymaker); and his siblings, Anna Stratton, Marie Critzer, Helen Miller, Robert Leighton Sellers Jr. and John E. Sellers.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Huffer (Danny) of Churchville and Monty Sellers (Tammy) of Stuarts Draft; his siblings, Mary Painter of Staunton, Dorothy Sayre of Waynesboro, Nancy Layne of Waynesboro and Harold Sellers of Swoope; his grandsons, Daniel Huffer of Lake Worth, Fla. and Donovan Huffer (Sarah) of Lynchburg; and his great grandchildren, Cora, Charlotte and Oliver. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bear Funeral Home (14 Green Hill Ln, Churchville, VA 24421). A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Green Hill Cemetery.
