She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Hevener and Edith Hevener (Arbogast); her sister Frances H. Bennett; and her siblings-in-law, Virginia Rexrode (Bennett), Junior Rexrode and John Lantz.
She is survived by: her husband Leo W. Bennett; her children, Terry Smiley (Jay) of Staunton and Jeff Bennett (LeAnn) of Lanexa; her granddaughters, Tina Smiley, Alyssa Moore (Brandon), Lauren Rothgeb (Dakota), Rachael Poe (David) and Shelby Bennett; her great grandchildren, Harrison Poe, Elizabeth Poe, Bennett Rothgeb and River Rothgeb; her sisters, Dollie Hanback, Mary "Sue" Splaun, Shirley Verdi and Barbara Rexrode; and her siblings-in-law, Abe Bennett and Irene Lantz (Bennett). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
