He was predeceased by: his parents, E. Roger Lam and Myrtle Lam (Sandy); and his sisters, Hazel Altizer and Marietta Helprey. He is survived by: his wife Edith Lam (DePoy); his children, Sandy Lam Collins (Steve), Randy Lam and Rodney Lam; his grandchildren, Jennifer Allmon, Emily Belknap, Aaron Lam and Stephanie Lam; his great grandchildren, Lilly Allmon, Lainey Allmon, Everly Belknap and Adelyn Belknap; and his siblings, Lynwood Lam, Herbert Lam, Dan Lam, Sam Lam, Marvin Lam, Dallas Lam and Frances Shank.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parnassus Church Cemetery.
