Peggy Jean Paulette (Burns) Armstrong Obituary

We are sad to announce that on June 28, 2022, at the age of 73, Peggy Jean Paulette (Burns) Armstrong of Churchville, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William McKeffer and Audra Madeline Burns (Hoover); and her sister Rosetta Mae Darcey. She is survived by: her husband Marvin "Toots" Armstrong; her children, Debra Lynn Helmke (Dave) of Virginia Beach, Melvin "Gene" Armstrong of Deerfield, Kevin Armstrong (Cynthia) of Burnsville and Dewayne Lee Armstrong of Churchville; her brothers, Phillip M. Burns of Mill Gap and Jerry M. Burns of Mill Gap; her half-sisters, Sylvia Lynn Carlson of Middlebrook and Beverly Marie Norman of Greensboro, N. C.; her stepbrothers, Delmas Lowry of Monterey and Bill Burns of Idaho; her grandchildren, Hunter, Brianna, Logan and Hannah Armstrong; her great grandchild Blake Armstrong; and her grandsons, Dylan Armstrong, Scottie Armstrong, Tracey Armstrong and Melvin Halterman. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
