It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin T. Lawhorn (Churchville, Virginia), who passed away on September 6, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Evie Lena (Bradley) and Marshall Lee Lawhorn; his wife Margaret Grace Lawhorn (Bryant); his son Elmer Eutsler; and his siblings, Clara Alman, Gladys Arline Stinnett, Virginia Groah, Delois "Lois" Howdyshell, William, Raymond, Edward "Eugene" and Kenneth Lawhorn.

He is survived by: his sons, Larry Lawhorn (Pat) and Homer Wilson Eutsler (Norma) of Staunton; his sister Evelyn Lucille Marshall of Churchville; his foster brother Warren Atchison (Linda) of Middlebrook; and his close friend Mable Brown of Radford.
