With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Fay Thompson (Churchville, Virginia), who passed away on December 13, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Calvin Ayers and Annie Ayers (Golden); her husband Samuel E. Thompson; her children, Michael Thompson of Mt. Solon, Ricky Thompson of Fulks Run, David Thompson of Churchville, Sandra Jefferson of Mt. Solon, Betty Michael of Swoope and Debra Marshall of Churchville; and her sister Geraldine Dudley of Roanoke. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
