He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Howard Roberts and Vada Mae Roberts (Pirkey); and his siblings, Randy Roberts and Joyce Wood. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Frances Roberts (Bird) of Churchville; his children, Kermit Ellis "K. E." Roberts (Joni) of Verona and Dawn Marie Roberts of Earlysville; his brother Clarence Roberts (Jean) of Charlottesville; his brother-in-law Carlton Wood of Earlysville; his granddaughters, Heather Michelle Roberts and Brittney Renee' Marshall (Brian); his great grandchildren, Ashton of Maleah and Lilith; and his nephew Dwayne Wood (Kim).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory (230 Frontier Dr, Staunton, VA 24401). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Coffman Funeral Home Chapel (230 Frontier Dr, Staunton, VA 24401). A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (550 Buck Mountain Rd, Earlysville, VA 22936).
