He was predeceased by: his parents, William Whitfield and Lily Grace Mauzy (Harper); his wife Teresa Louise (Warner); and his siblings, Mary Mauzy Grant, Betty Sue Mauzy Caricofe, George, Jack and Robert "Bob" Mauzy.
He is survived by: his sons, Bill Mauzy (Jessica) of Nellysford and Joseph Mauzy of Churchville; his grandchildren, Christopher Mauzy of Waynesboro and Hazel Mauzy; his brother Charles Mauzy (Peggy) of Staunton; and his close friend Freda Hedrick of Lyndhurst.
