He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Walker and Florence Roberta Strickler (Hawpe); his wife Isabel Boward Strickler; his son Guy Franklin Strickler, Jr.; and his brothers, Charles, D. W., Dwight and Fred Strickler.
He is survived by: his daughter Dottie Westhafer (Tommy) of Verona; his siblings, Dorothy Fultz of West Augusta, Frank Strickler of Timberville and Ray Strickler of West Augusta; his grandchildren, Jason Aaron Springel of Lone Fountain and Krystle Westhafer Piazza (Nick) of Burnsville, Minn.; his great grandchildren, Kayleigh Isabel Springel, Madisan Rae Springel and Logan Thomas Baxter; his nephew Jeff Strickler; and his friend John Cree.
