George M. Ware Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George M. Ware (Churchville, Virginia), who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of George M. Ware to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Spencer Ware and Louie Ann Ware (Vandevander); his wife Inez Newman Ware; his brothers, Gene Audrie Ware and D. Mason Ware; his grandson Martin Coleman, Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Ware and Ivan Good.
He is survived by: his sons, Grady Ware (Denise) of Crimora, Nathan Ware (Gina) of Staunton, Charles Ware-Rinaca (James) of Staunton and John Ware (Jeanna) of Mt. Sidney; his siblings, Wilma Good of Mt. Sidney, Jessie Reeves (Earl) of Mt. Solon and John Ware of Mt. Solon; his sister-in-law Martha Ware of Staunton; his grandchildren, Joshua, Christopher, Spencer, Rachel, Adam, Cooper and Joseph Ware; and his great grandchildren, Samuel, Amber, Calin, Kayleigh, Christopher and Emily.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the Bear Funeral Home (14 Green Hill Ln, Churchville, VA 24421). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
