He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin F. Gayhart and Catherine "Tiny" Gayhart (Rankin); and his brother-in-law Bobby Lobdell. He is survived by: his wife Patricia H. Gayhart of Churchville; his children, David Gayhart (Dawn) of Bridgewater and Danielle Gayhart of Staunton; his grandchildren, Matthew, Lily Gayhart and Catherine Taylor Wilson; his great grandchild Xander Wilson; and his sisters, Debbie Lobdell, Lindy Greaver (Dale) and Sue Chapman (Gary).
