She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne Eugene Bartley; her parents, Sam Gordon Lee and Effie Cile Lee (McWhorter); her daughter Tamara Gutshall; her grandson Casey Shinaberry; her great grandchild Aubrey Gutshall-McCray; and her brother-in-law Pete Bates.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Shinaberry (Eddie) and Julie Powell (Cameron); her sisters, Tiny Bates, Shelby Lee, Peggy Ivey (Larry) and Janice Folsom (Barry); her sisters-in-law, Melinda Gibson (Jim) and Brenda Mawyer; her grandchildren, Wayne Paxton (Makayla), Brecken Robertson (Pugs) and Harrison Powell; her great grandchildren, Brendan Gutshall, Jessie Shinaberry and Maverick Paxton; her cousins, Amileen "Bolly" Brooks, Linda Scaboo and Marlene Hatter; and her friends, Joyce Garrison, Sue Dula, Kay Howard, Tina Simmons and Polly Armstrong. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
