He is survived by: his wife Loretta Gaye Whitson (Hanson) of Churchville Avenue; his sister Juanita Fullerton; his daughter-in-law Colleen Cooper; his grandchildren, Krista Prevette, Kellie Lowe (Travis), Andrew, Matthew of Richard and Zachary Cooper; his great grandchildren, Michael, Nathaniel Prevette, Levi Lowe, Tori Iqbal (Harris), Makayla Dodson (Devon), Rymer Cooper, Dorothy Cooper, Richie Cooper, Hazel Cooper and Sebastian Cooper; his great great grandchild Safiyah Iqbal; and his children, Sawyer, Deacon and Walker Whitson.
