Bette Willingham Obituary

We bid farewell to Bette Willingham (Churchville, Virginia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 14, 2025 at the age of 96. Bette touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Williams and Irene Evelyn Williams (Williams); her former husband Newman Earl Bolen; her husband Alton Russell Willingham; and her children, John Alton Bolen and Barbara Jean Bolen.

She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca "Becky" Corns (Mike) of Churchville; her grandchildren, Hayley Corns, John Alton "Jack" Corns and Caroline Morgner (Peter); and her great grandchildren, June and Atley Morgner.
