Huffman; her nephew Timothy Spitzer; her niece Tina Spitzer; her siblings-in-law, Ralph M. Spitzer and Maxine Huffman; the father of her children Archie Dickey, Jr.; and her second love Eugene Braden.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Via (Rodney) of Waynesboro, Virginia and Steven Dickey of Garner, NC; her siblings, Joy Daggy (Tom) of Mt. Solon and William "Bill" Huffman of McDowell; her grandchildren, Kayla Ramsey (Chaz), Austin Via, Addison Dickey, Reily Dickey and Lainee Dickey; her great grandchildren, Macie and Lane Ramsey; her nieces, Lisa Spitzer, Donna Spitzer and Teresa Gwin; her nephew Jeffrey Huffman; and her close friends, Dale Welcher, Darlene Thomas and Sherry Welcher.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, Salvation Army, or local fire departments.
