She was predeceased by: her husband R. Norman Collins, Sr.; her parents, Thomas Newton Wilson and Vivian McAlpin Wilson; her son J. Phillip Collins; and her brother Thomas N. Wilson, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Ellen Ludwick (Carl) of Roanoke, Ray Collins, Jr. (Judy) of Clifton Forge and Steve Collins (Gail) of Penn Laird; her brother Joseph Wilson of Athens, Tenn.; her sister-in-law Virginia Leach of Bridgewater; her grandchildren, Nate Collins (Annie), Greg Ludwick (Sara), Susan Ormsbee, David Ludwick (Mindi), Mary Catherine Collins Bogard (Peter) and Sarah Collins; and her great grandchildren, Maddie, Celie Collins and Alex Ludwick. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
