It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilmar Jean Brammer of Christiansburg, Virginia, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otho Eugene Brammer and Lura Bryant Brammer; his siblings, Calvin, Howard, Julian and Ardith Matz; and his granddaughter Shelby Simpkins.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Ward Brammer; his daughters, Teresa Custer, Charlene Simpkins (Shannon) and Rebecca Wilson (Michael); his grandchildren, Ashley Custer, Danielle Dudley (Kyle), Sarah Campbell (Kellen), Brooke Cordes (Hayden) and Brennen Wilson; his great grandchild Landon Custer of Christiansburg; his sister Evelyn Rice (Russell) of Sandston; his nieces, Pat Bean (Billy) and Darlene McGuire; his sister-in-law Frances Seltz; and his close friends, Red Custer of Christiansburg and Mike Eastridge of Christiansburg. He is also survived by daughters than nieces.
