With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Terry Lee Nix of Christiansburg, Virginia, who passed away on December 12, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nix and Edith Nix; his aunts and uncles, Lawrence Nix, Rink Nix, Marg Nix and Mary Buckner; his nephew Aaron Nix; his niece Vicky Nix; his mother-in-law Viola Akers; his friend AJ Bryson; and his pets, Winnie, Wally, Cody and Maggie.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Nix; his children, Terry L. Nix II and Lauri Ann Thomas (Brett); his brothers, Dennis Nix and Dan Nix (Cindy); his cousin Debbie Nix; his grandsons, Caleb and Joshua Thomas; his uncle Cliff Nix; and his pet Winston Churchill.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Horne Funeral Home & Cremation Service (1300 N Franklin St, Christiansburg, VA 24073). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Community Christian Church (5382 Grace St, Dublin, VA 24084).
