With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ted Janney of Christiansburg, Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Ted left this world on February 26, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bill Janney and Madeline Boyd Janney; his stepfather Scottie Scott; his wife Barbara Lyons Janney; his daughters, Kristin McLaughlin (Shane) and Jessica Cauley; and his grandchildren, Tanyon Cauley, Wesson and Teagan McLaughlin.
He is survived by: his brother Larry Janney; and his stepbrother Jim Scott (Pat).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Horne Funeral Home and Chapel (1300 N Franklin St, Christiansburg, VA 24073). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Sunset Cemetery (501 S Franklin St, Christiansburg, VA 24073).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Christiansburg Church of Christ, which he dearly loved, or to a local Rescue Squad.
