We are sad to announce that on July 23, 2023, at the age of 74, Roy Walter Reed of Christiansburg, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Reed and Hazel Reed; and his brother Milton Reed. He is survived by: his daughter Betina (Steve McGuire); his stepson Tony Hopkins (Joyce); his siblings, Joyce Nunley and Tommy Reed; his sisters-in-law, Linda and Suesue Stamper; his grandchildren, Rachel Reed, Kayla Duncan, Christie Bailey (Dustin) and Chris McGuire (Alicia); his great grandchildren, Carter, Daelyn, Delaney and Avery; his brother Don Thompson; and his close friend Taz.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask for any donations to go to Franklin County Humane Society or Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery Volunteers.
