He was predeceased by: his parents, Bascom Morris and Catherine Sutphin Morris; his daughter Karen Davis; and his siblings, J. R., Howard, Paul, Ann and Barbara.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Ann Morris; his daughter Tanya Sutton (Kirk); his grandchildren, Megan Leonard (Aaron), Madison Bland, Haley Sutton (Zach), Brittany Slaughter (Cody) and Billy Davis III; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Jackson, Karleigh Grace and Billy Eugene Davis, IV; his siblings, Robert Morris and Gay Cheatham; and his sister-in-law Alice Morris. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Horne Funeral Home & Cremation Service (1300 N Franklin St, Christiansburg, VA 24073).
The family would like to request that memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army or the Riner Rescue Squad.
