He is survived by: his wife Sharon Smallridge Stickley; his children, Anna Stickley Harrison (Matthew) of Charlottesville, Robert Smallridge Stickley of Richmond and Dr. Samuel FitzSimons Stickley (Emily) of Urbana, IL.; and his father Dr. William Sproul Stickley (Betty).
