She is survived by: her grandmother Ruth Gathercole; her father Charles Douglas Gathercole; her husband Freddy Smith; her sister Kimberly Gathercole; her children, Brittany Simone (Terry Simone, Jr.), Candace Bean (Brian Hall), Breanna Foutz (Jacob Foutz) and Michael Bean; her grandchildren, Georgia, Aleyah, Elijah, Brayden, Rivar and Kensley; her niece Anabelle; and her nephew Hadyn.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
