It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Olene Richardson Stanger of Christiansburg, Virginia, born in Shawsville, Virginia, who passed away on November 2, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Billy N. Stanger; her parents, Rev. P. A. Richardson and Maggie Smith Richardson; her siblings, Arlene Harbert and Percy Richardson; and her son-in-law Donald Osborne.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Slaughter (Lewis), Leisa Osborne and Bruce Stanger; her grandsons, Brent Slaughter (Laura) and Andrew Slaughter; and her sisters, Frances Bower, Hazel Talley, Mary Essmann, Martha Laper, Sue Rackley (Ron) and Linda Koalkin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
