The passing of June Elizabeth McClure Norton of Christiansburg, Virginia, born in Gastonia, North Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 21, 2024 at the age of 79. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall McClure and Madeline McClure. She is survived by: her children, Terri June Welch (Doug Huff) of Christiansburg, VA, Della Elaine Norton of Ocean View, DE and Michael Gray Norton (Gina Norton) of Sanford, ME.; her grandchildren, Tiffany, Steven, Chelsea, Clayton, Genaya, Haley and Stevie; her great grandchildren, Marshall, Madeline, Juliet, Briar Grace, Jordan, Izabell, Blake and Beau; and her aunt Lois Parker of Marble, NC. She is also survived by many cousins and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home (150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg, VA 24060).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Teri Welch or Roselawn Memorial Gardens for June's memorial plaque, no matter the amount.
