He was predeceased by: his mother Idabell Richards; his stepfather Roy Richards; his father Claron O. Reed; his sister Lilly Ellen Hinkley; and his stepson Ronnie Farmer.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Reed; his children, Sarah (Jason Egan), Shelia (Ralph Collins) and Jeff; his daughter-in-law Tabatha Dulaney; his grandchildren, Cody Egan, Bryanna Egan, Casi Dulaney, Jeffrey Dulaney and Jarrid Dulaney (Caitlyn); and his siblings, Kenny Richards (Ramona) and Bobbie Ogle. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
