With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joel David Eller of Christiansburg, Virginia, who passed away on May 17, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Eller and Annie Spencer Eller; his wife Nikola Sowers Eller; his brother Sonny Eller; and his great grandchild Ryan Joseph Atkinson.
He is survived by: his children, Darryl Eller (Patricia) of Lillington, NC, Rita Sunshine (Donn) of Wytheville, VA and Tina Morrell of Christiansburg, VA; his pets, Oscar and Princess; his grandchildren, Erin Apperson (Jonathan), Ginny Atkinson (Michael), Jason Eller (Mandy), Hannah Eller, Brandon Eller, Stacey LeCompte (Jon), Alyssa Fox and Colton Henderson (Lindsay); his great grandchildren, Cole, Ian, Claire, Owen, Justin, Jackson and Nori; his brother Randy Eller; and his siblings-in-law, Garry Sowers (Weeta), Viola Tawney (James) and Deborah Farley. He is also survived by Uncle Joel is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and their children.
