It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennings Cales of Christiansburg, Virginia, born in Sandstone, West Virginia, who passed away on June 22, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Houston Cales and Reva Gill Cales; and his siblings, Sandy Cales, Gerena Steel, Drema Blankenship and Kermit Cales.
He is survived by: his wife Nelsie Bennett Cales of Christiansburg, VA; his sons, Craig Cales of Princeton, Mike Atwell (LeAnn) of Lafayette, IN and Brian Cales; his grandchildren, Caitlyn Johnson and Daniel Atwell; and his siblings, Judy Biggs of Charlotte, NC, Roger Cales (Peggy) of Waynesboro, PA, Tinker Cales (Janice) of Nimitz and Gene Cales (Ronnie). He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
