He is survived by: his wife Janice (Jan); his stepmother Lorraine Politis; his children, James D. Politis II (Stephanie), Jeannetta Politis (Luis Prado-Roman) and Jason Politis (Callie); his grandchildren, Emma, Andrew, Gavin and Jenna Rae; his siblings, Evelyn Bluemke, Karen Kaufman (Kevin), Sue Kaufman, Michael Kaufman (Debbie), Cathy (Pat Riordan), Becky Klein and Nanette (Doug Soliday); and his caregivers, Sarah, Wendy, Joelle, Cindy, Kayla, Dr. McCoy and Beth Falen. He is also survived by his family and friends.
