He was predeceased by: his sister Nancy Nixon; and his parents, Howard Bane and Mary Bane. He is survived by: his wife Coleen; his children, Trey Bane (Sherry) of Macon, GA and Connie Walters (Eric) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Rachel Davenport (John) of Fredericksburg, VA and Nathan Walters of Charlotte, NC; his great grandchild Audrey Davenport of Fredericksburg, VA; his friends, Alan Graybill, Doug Goad, Don Knautz, Andy Schack and Chris Hale; his nephew Sam Nixon; and his niece Rebecca Nixon Collins.
