She was predeceased by: her parents, Basil Lee and Clara Graham Elliott; her husband Jerold Shephard (Jerry); her sons, Wayne Shephard, Jr. and Joey Lee Shephard; and her brothers, Duane Sherwood and Gary Elliott.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Terri Shephard Murray (Eddie), Ashley Shephard Cridlin (Jacob) and Kacie Shephard (Cody Pendergrass); her great grandchildren, Jade Murray Parker (Caleb), Carter Wayne Murray and Kylie Emmersyn Pendergrass; her great great grandchildren, Lily Grace Murray and Finleigh Irelynn Parker; and her siblings-in-law, Frankie Shephard and Cindy Elliott. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home (150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg, VA 24060). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the McCoy Funeral Home Chapel (150 Country Club Dr SW, Blacksburg, VA 24060).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Merrimac Pentecostal Holiness Church, 894 Merrimac Road, Blacksburg, VA 24060.
