It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Michael Bookout (Christiansburg, Virginia), who passed away on May 9, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joe L. Bookout; and her parents, Alfred Clyde Michael and Rebecca Ramseur Michael. She is survived by: her children, Joe L. Bookout, Jr. and Rebecca Sue Holland; her children-in-law, J. Patrick Holland (Allan M. Bookout) and Coreen L. Bookout; her grandchildren, Melissa Beecher (Gabriel Beecher), Laura Sclafani (Michael Sclafani), Steven Holland (Jessica Holland), Erica Bookout and Makayla Bookout (Savana Mohler); and her great grandchildren, Alexa Beecher, Jacob Beecher, Charles Sclafani and Sloane Holland.
Memorials may be made to Christ Lutheran Church or to Lutheran World Relief.
