She was predeceased by: her husband James H. "Cotton" Simmons; her daughter Marie; her son-in-law Donald Duncan; her parents, L. J. Wickline and Martha Gracie Wickline; and her siblings, Willy George, Conel, Raymond Wickline, Mary Ellison, Minnie Moses and Phyllis Wickline.
She is survived by: her grandson Chris Duncan (Hope Crockett) of Pearisburg, VA; her great grandchildren, Tyler and Tayler of Pearisburg, VA; her stepson Ronnie (Barbara Simmons) of Christiansburg, VA; her stepgrandchildren, Jason, Kevin Simmons of Christiansburg, VA, Kristen Simmons Bruzzese and Vinnie Bruzzese; her great grandchild Sebastion Bruzzese of West Hill, California; her sister Lois (Val Gutierrez); and her niece Ellen. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
