He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewin Poff and Agnes Poff. He is survived by: his wife Janet McAlexander Poff; his daughter Ashley Lester; his grandchildren, McKenna Lester and Tipton Greene; and his siblings, Phillip Poff (Linda), Bruce Poff (Vivian) and Pat Rakes (Dennis). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and special friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Horne Funeral Home (16 E Main St, Christiansburg, VA 24073). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
