He is survived by: his brothers, Roy Lee Campbell and Marion Gray Campbell; his grandson Gabriel David Akers; his wife Carol Biggs Campbell; his daughter Melissa Campbell Akers (Eric) of Christiansburg; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Wayne Akers (Whitney) of New Castle and Mikaela Samantha Akers of Christiansburg; his brother Mason Elwood Campbell (Peggy) of Roanoke, VA; his siblings-in-law, Judy and Rodney Williams of Princeton, WV; and his pet Sophie.
